The Iron Patriot

Zach Parise was expected to be out 2-3 weeks with a bruised foot, which he suffered during Monday's game. He took the morning skate on Wednesday, but couldn't play due to the pain.

Yesterday, however, he did make it into the game and played over 22 minutes. Not bad for a guy who was supposed to be out 2-3 weeks.

So much like his July 4th signing partner, Ryan Suter, Parise is an Iron-Man for this team. But since he is a sure lock to play for Team USA in the upcoming Olympics, lets give him the Iron Patriot suit.

This one will come in handy when he captains team USA in Sochi.
