Erik Haula needs no introduction to this state.

For the past three seasons, Haula has been lighting the lamp for the University of Minnesota. In those seasons, we have seen all kind of goals from Haula as he uses his speed, good shot, and natural instinct of standing around the net to wreak havoc on the teams of the WCHA.

Haula made a huge leap in this list after posting 49 and 51 points respectively in his final two seasons at "The U". After Haula signed his entry level contract following the 2012-13 Gopher season, he went to Houston and played out the remainder of the season with the Aeros notching 2 points in the regular season and playoffs respectively.

Look for Haula to play the 2013-14 season with Houston. Given the few roster spots open on the Wild, Haula does not seem like a fit to make the team this year. He still has some work to do defensively, and it remains to be seen how reacts to the more physical play of pro hockey. So lets just give him a year in the AHL and see if he can make the team in 2014-15.
