With their last pick in the sixth round, the Wild drafted Reid Duke, a center who plays for Lethbridge of the WHL.
Duke is in line to return to Lethbridge for a fourth season, where he was the team's second best even strength scorer last season. His 40 points were third best on the Hurricanes, behind Brady Ramsay (42) and Riley Sheen (41).
The scouting report on Duke is pretty much like the rest of the previous Wild draftees. More gifted on the offensive side, but is a very responsible defensive forward as well. He has good speed and has a nice set of hands. While he only scored 40 points this past year, that number should increase as he continues to grow and mature.
